Topp Dogg to sing the Korean remake of the opening theme song for anime 'Detective Conan'


Topp Dogg will have their first OST challenge since debut by singing the opening theme song for popular anime 'Detective Conan'.

According Topp Dogg's agency on February 12th, the group will sing 'Butterfly Core' as the opening song for 'Detective Conan', which will be on air in Korea this March.

A Japanese rep of the series said,"We are happy to hear that 'Detective Conan' has received a steady amount of love ever since its first broadcast in Korea 15 years ago. Whenever we come out with new episodes, we have talented Korean artists to sing the remake version of the songs, which were originally sung by Japanese top artists".

Topp Dogg shared their throught,"It's really an honor to sing the remake of the Japanese theme song with our own voices. We are happy to be given the opportunity to challenge ourselves as the OST singer to mant viewers of 'Detective Conan'. We give a lot of love to 'Detective Conan' and our OST as well".

Kan Mi Yeon, Boyfriend and more previously sang the theme songs for the series, and now followed by Topp Dogg.

Meanwhile, Topp Dogg started off their world tour with a concert in Japan in January and will head to Brazil on the 14th.
