JYJ's Japanese single 'Wake Me Tonigh' ranks #2 on Oricon Weekly Chart

JYJ's first Japanese single has come out at second place on Oricon Weekly Chart.

According to Oricon on January 28th, 'Wake Me Tonight' has sold a total of 135,556 copies ever since its release on the 21st, which makes it rank #2 on Oricon Weekly Chart following KAT-TUN's 'Dead or Alive'.

Since this is JYJ's first official release in Japan, the group faced some distribution obstacles but it didn't stop the single to sweep all the charts. 'Wake Me Tonight' immediately shooted up to second place on Oricon Daily Chart as well as topping both Tower Records Daily Chart and HMV 24-hour Chart. Even their Korean album 'Just Us' released last year, recorded first place on Tower Records Monthly Chart and second place on Oricon Weekly Chart, showing the group's hugh popularity in Japan.

Congratulation JYJ!
