Hongki is in talk for new SBS weekend drama 'Modern Farmer'


Hongki will be likely to act in a new drama again this year.

On July 3rd, according to FnC Entertainment, Hongki has received the offer to star as the lead role in SBS' new weekend drama "Modern Farmer". Nothing has yet to be confirmed as he's currently positive reviewing the role.

"Modern Farmer" will be directed by director Oh Jin Suk whose previous work was SBS's drama "Goddess of Marriage" in 2013 and written by Kim Ki Ho who has worked for tvN's sitcoms "Roller Coaster","Blue Tower" and SBS's special drama "Stranger". The story is about a rock band who comes to a countryside and in a irony situation, it will be filled with both love and laughter.

In particular, beside Hongki as the lead role, it was said that other artists from FnC Entertainment will be making their appearances in the drama as well.

"Modern Farmer" will be a 20-episode mini series and is set to broadcast on October 18th.
