2NE1's Dara celebrates 10th year since debut in the Philippines

June 2014 marks the 10th year anniversary of 2NE1's Dara since she won 1st runner up from ABS-CBN's reality-based talent search show 'Star Circle Quest' in 2004.

2NE1's Dara was first known as Sandara Park way back in the Philippines. She became a record artist debuting with her famous novelty dance hit 'In or Out,' which parodied her experiences in 'Star Circle Quest.' She also starred in four Philippine movies 'Bcuz Of U' (2004) where she won the 'Best New Actress' award, Can This Be Love (2005) which was her first solo movie with her former love team Hero Angeles, D' Lucky Ones (2006) with her ex-boyfriend Joseph Bitangcol, and the last was Super Noypi (2006). Aside from movies, she also had TV shows and specials like 'Krystala' and 'My Name is Sandara Park,' which was watched by YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk.

On her Twitter and Instagram accounts, Dara remembered her 10th year anniversary. She tweeted saying, "I'm already 10 years in showbiz!!! I still remembered the grand questor's night at the Araneta Coliseum 10 years ago. Thank you very muck for your support."

She followed it with another tweet saying, "You didn't change until now. I love you all very much. I hope to go back in the Phil. soon!!! I miss you already!!! :)"

She also said, “I just celebrated the 5th anniversary of 2NE1 recently, but today it's my 10th year anniversary since I debuted in the Philippines as Sandara Park. Ten years have passed already, but the only thing that changed were numbers. I will continue living young ten years from now. Thank you for those who believed and supported me since then until now. I love you."

On her IG, she posted the photo above along with the caption saying, "To celebrate my 10th year anniversary since debut, this is my not-so-liked ‘tanned-Dara’ and ‘abs-Dara’.”

Congratulations Dara. More decades for you.
