[News] Girl's Day holds successful first solo concert in Japan

Girl’s Day recently completed their successful and sold-out first solo concert in Japan.

On December 10th, Girl's Day put on a passionate performance in front of 1,200 cheering fans at their first exclusive concert in Shibuya O-East Live House. The girls performed 20 songs and received an overwhelming responses from fans.

Over 65% that filled the seats were male fans and although Girl’s Day haven’t officially debuted in Japan, the fans showed their support and sang along with their hit songs. Local media also paid close attention to them, as 200 representatives from Japan’s media, music, and fashion industries attended the concert and watched their performances.

One of the experts in the Japanese music industry stated, "I never knew that Girl’s Day was this popular in Japan. They have great visuals and each of the 5 members possess a variety of charms. If they were to start promotions in Japan after signing on with an agency, I believe they could be very successful."

Girl's Day concluded the show with their hit song “Twinkle Twinkle” in Santa Claus costumes, which each members shed tears as they sang the final song of the concert.
