[News] Shinhwa's Shin Hye-sung announces busy year ahead

Korean singer Shin Hye-sung, the leader of former boy band Shinhwa, will be carrying out various musical activities later this year which includes multiple album releases as well as concert DVDs, live concert tours and fan meetings in Asia.

In a July 5 post titled "2010 SHIN HYE SUNG PROJECT," Lee Jang-eon, president of Shin's agency Live Works Company, informed fans about the singer's upcoming activities on his newly-launched official website (http://www.lworks.co.kr/HYESUNG/).

According to the announcement, Shin is set to release three records this year;
- "Find voice in song SHIN HYE SUNG" : The local licensed version of his first album release in Japan. Due out July 15 in Korea. Includes bonus track "Gone Today" by VINK.
- "THE CYCLE 2005-2009 SHIN HYE SUNG" : Best album to be released simultaneously in Korea and Japan. Release date unknown. Includes two new tracks "EX-MIND" and "If You Love..."
- Fourth studio album (untitled) : Due out around October. To start recording soon.

The singer is also planning a concert in Korea in October after releasing his fourth album and, if possible, a Christmas concert around the end of the year, followed by an Asian tour in the first half of 2011.

Shin's previous concert performances will be out in DVD;
- 2009 SHIN HYE SUNG "KEEP LEAVES" TOUR IN SEOUL : Held in Seoul in May 2009. To be released in Taiwan on July 24 and in Korea on July 27.
- "Find voice in song" LIVE IN TOKYO : Held in Japan in June 2010. To be broadcast on Japan's DATV this fall and later released in DVD.

In addition, Live Works is organizing a promotional fan meeting tour titled "2010 SHINHYESUNG LIVE MUSICSHOW IN ASIA," which will kick off July 18 in Shanghai and continue onto Taiwan (July 25) and Bangkok (August 7).

After the Asian fan meets, the singer will be meeting his Korean and Japanese fans at an event in Korea later next month.

Shin Hye-sung, whose real name is Jung Pil-kyo, debuted in 1998 as the lead singer of popular boy band Shinhwa. He has released two solo debut albums "Love of May" (2005) and "The Beginning, New Days" (2007).

He made headlines last October when he was charged with a 10 million won fine for gambling in Macau on several occasions, and has since been working in Japan.
