IU, Roy Kim and Dal Shabet appear on g.o.d's reunion concert



On July 12th, g.o.d held their 15th anniversary reunion concert at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium.

Their concert was attended by approximately 14,000 fans and three known KPop artists. IU, Roy Kim and Dal Shabet were among those. 

According to reports, IU will be collaborating with g.o.d through 'Sing For Me.' It's also known that IU is a huge fan of g.o.d.

Miss A's Suzy & Roy Kim have narration challenge before 'Connection 2014' airs



Before the onset of 'Connection 2014,' Miss A's Suzy and SuperStar K4 winner Roy Kim were spotted having a narration challenge.

Suzy's and Roy Kim's sweet voices were chosen to be the storytellers for 'Connection 2014.' It was revealed that the objective of the narration challenge was for them to be able to relate themselves with the romantic concept of the show. 

'Connection 2014' is conceptualized differently. The dating show will have a more conservative attack. The two parties is keeping their connection through traditional letters and photo without meeting personally.

The show aired its first of four episodes on June 13th.

Roy Kim to comeback with a new album in the second half of this year


Roy Kim will make his comeback soon later this year.

An official revealed that Roy Kim has started the preparation process for his new album since the end of last month and it's scheduled to be released in the second half of this year.

According to Georgetown University, Roy Kim finished his semester and returned to Korea last May. He has lived in the USA with his family and continued with his studying since August, 2013.

Meanwhle, Roy Kim will appear with Suzy as storytellers for new variety show "Connection 2014' on June 13th.

Roy Kim and Suzy to be narrators for XTM's 'Connection 2014'


Roy Kim and Suzy will lend their sweet voices for a new dating project which is co-produced by OnStyle and XTM called "Connection 2014".

"Connection 2014" will have a different concept from all the dating shows that you have watched before as they will let the two parties meet and keep in touch with each other through photos and letter without directly meeting each other. Both Roy Kim and Suzy will act as storytellers and show their reactions as well as their own perspectives from the same situations.

This show will run for 4 episodes and will start on June 13th.

Roy Kim quietly leaves for the United States


It is said that Roy Kim left for Washington on January 6th, and it was a quite departure that only some of his close friends knew about it.

Roy Kim after his plagiarism controversy for "Spring Spring Spring, he temporary halted all his activities and left for the U.S last August to continue his study. He enrolled in Georgetown University and studied for Bachelor Of Business Administrations in September. Then during his winter break, he returned to Korea to attend "Super Star K 5’ Top 10 Collaboration Concert" on December 28th and also hold his own special concert on 29th at Yonsei University.

He still hasn't signed with any official agency after becoming a winner of "Super Star K4" yet.

Roy Kim's voice is heard again on an acoustic track 'Seoul, Here' for 'Reply 1994' OST!



Roy Kim is in the USA where he's continuing his studies at the Georgetown University.

However, his voice is heard again through "Seoul, Here" for 'Reply 1994' OST which he recorded before leaving for States. It is an acoustic remix of the theme song of 1994 MBC drama 'The Moon of Seoul'.

'Reply 1994' is set to premiere on the 18th with the release of Roy Kim's "Seoul, Here" online on the same day also.

Roy Kim bids goodbye to fans before leaving to US


Singer Roy Kim bid his goodbye to his fans before leaving to the United States to continue his education.

On August 25th, Roy Kim wrote on his Twitter, “I am always thankful. I’ll learn a lot and come back. To my people, always be healthy and I love you so much. May Peace, Love and Happiness be with you all Forever.”

Roy Kim, who was originally set to enter Georgetown University last September, has took two semesters off to participate in ‘Superstar K4' and to focus on his music career. On August 25, he finally left for the United States to pursue his degree.

Roy Kim leaving to America to enter college


Singer Roy Kim will wrap up promotional activities for his first album and fly to the United States to continue his education.

Roy Kim, who was originally set to enter Georgetown University last September, has took two semesters off to participate in 'Superstar K4' and to focus on his music career. He was planning on taking another leave of absence but Georgetown University notified that they cannot permit extension anymore

The singer will now be withdrawing from MBC FM4U ‘Roy Kim & Jeong Jun Young’s Close Friend’ after August 18th, and will be leaving to the United States on the 25th.

Roy Kim said, “I’ll put my best effort to be more mature person with my new university life and more study on music. I’d also like to express particular thanks for my fans.”

Performances from Mnet’s ‘2013 20’s Choice Awards’


On July 18, Mnet held the one and only summer awards ceremony for youth, the ‘20’s Choice Awards’ which took place at Ilsan’s KINTEX Exhibition Hall. The exciting event was hosted by Shinhwa’s Lee Min Woo and Jun Jin, and TV personality Kim Seul Ki.

The 7th 20’s Choice Awards was packed with a fresh wave of top stars which battled out in a variety of categories which include 20’s Performance, 20’s Mwave Global Star, 20’s Voice and more for a total of 20 categories.

In addition, several top stars delivered their amazing performances including, 2NE1, Shinhwa, SISTAR, INFINITE, SHINee, Roy Kim, Girl’s Day, Verbal Jint, Daybreak as well as other collaboration stages.

Roy Kim suffers from ‘Go Jun Hee disease’?


Singer Roy Kim revealed that he is suffering from the ‘Go Jun Hee disease’.

On July 13th, Roy Kim held his first solo concert at Yeonsei University. During the show, he said, “Everyone is getting ‘Go Jun Hee disease’ these days. Every girls with short hair style look like Go Jun Hee, and I think I’ve got the same disease as well.”

Roy Kim added, “I keep looking at girls with short hair style these days”, revealing that he has been attracted to women with short hair like Go Jun Hee.

Meanwhile, Roy Kim is currently promoting his first official album ‘Love Love Love’. On the other hand, Go Jun Hee is getting more attention with her appearance on MBC ‘We Got Married’.

Roy Kim serenades fans with “Love Love Love” on ‘M! Countdown’


Returning with another three-word title, Roy Kim is embarking on his new promotion with new title song, “Love Love Love” starting with his first performance today on ‘M! Countdown’.

“Love Love Love” is the title song to his first full-length album of the same name, which was released on June 25. It is a track with a cheerful melody, and is composed and written by Roy Kim himself.

CJ E&M says Roy Kim and Park Soo Jin aren’t seeing each other anymore


After Roy Kim and actress Park Soo Jin have been caught up in love rumors, both their agencies checked with the stars themselves before releasing an official stance. Although the two did go on a few dates in the past, Roy Kim’s agency confirmed that they’re currently not in a relationship.

A representative from CJ E&M revealed, “It is true they met a few times with good feelings toward each other but they are not seeing each other anymore and aren’t dating.”

Meanwhile, Park Soo Jin nor her agency have responded to the report yet.

Earlier today, a local media outlet had reported that Roy Kim and Park Soo Jin had been dating for four months. According to the report, they became very close after meeting in MBC radio show and started dating not too long after.
