With Shindong being away for Super Junior’s tour in South America, a great number of different K-Pop stars will be filling his DJ spot on MBC FM’s ‘ShimShimTaPa’.

 MBC recently announced the lineup of special idol DJs that will substitute for Shindong. For 10 days starting from April 22, B1A4, TEEN TOP, Girl’s Day, U-Kiss, Wonder Girls, BTOB, ZE:A, MBLAQ and Jewelry will be appearing as special DJs, and hold an event called ‘2013 ShimShimTaPa KPOP Festival’.

 Each group will be hosting the radio show for one day, and such an event was never held before. They will be hosting the show for Super Junior’s Shindong, who had to leave his chair for a while due to Super Junior’s Super Show in South America.

One of the largest and most successful international K-Pop concerts, Korea Times Music Festival, is returning for a bigger and greater show!

Korea Times revealed the official date for their 11th annual Korea Times Music Festival which will be held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on April 27, 2013. The first lineup of artists has finally been released.

The large scale event will feature popular artists including, B2ST, BTOB, ZE:A, Jewelry, YB, Guckkasten, Im Taeyoung, BMK, Joe Sungmo, Heyee, Kim Bumryong and Blush.

Korea Times Music Festival announces first lineup of artists


One of the largest and most successful international K-Pop concerts, Korea Times Music Festival, is returning for a bigger and greater show!

Lee Ji Hyun, who was a former member of girl group Jewelry, announced her marriage plan.

A representative from her agency WellMadeStar M announced on February 20, “Lee Ji Hyun will get married next month on the 24th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido.”

Her groom-to-be has been revealed to be 7 years older and currently working in the construction industry. They met through a mutual friend last year and have dated for 6 months.

Lee Ji Hyun debuted in 1998, and joined Jewelry in 2001. After withdrawing from the team in 2006, she turned into an actress.

DongJun,  Yewon and JiHyun are confirmed to be cast in idol version of ‘Love and War’. Through interview, KBS revealed that the Kim DongJun, Kim YeWon and Nam JiHyun will be acting as new couples in their 20s in the idol version of the drama. The 3 members of their respective groups will create a love triangle relationship in 'Love and War'.

The idol version of ‘Love and War 2′ is expected to be aired in March.

On the recent episode of tvN ‘The Romantic & Idol’ which was aired on February 10, singer G.NA received zero votes from the male participants.

In the previous episodes, G.NA showed great interest in each other with FT Island’s Choi Jong Hoon. However, during the final selection, all the male participants decided to not pick G.NA. Jong Hoon chose Jewelry’s Yewon as well.

G.NA said, “I’m the one who had the most time with Jong Hoon, and I started feeling comfortable about him. Even though I don’t know how he thinks about me.”

She showed tears and continued, “This show is too cruel. I thought of a situation like this, but it really feels weird. I should be happy that I made great friends, but why am I crying?”

MinHyuk and Yewon who appeared in The Romantic and Idol 2, were asked to perform a couple hug from the drama ‘I’m sorry. I love you”. Yewon and Minhyuk also showed closed skinship during their first date, hence attracting attention.

In the picture, Yewon and MinHyuk smiled without any awkwardness, and hugged in front of the camera. Anybody who set eyes would mistaken them as a couple due to their natural skinship.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee and Jewelry’s Yewon will be lending their voices to dub for the upcoming animated film, ‘Gladiator: The Birth of a Lazy Hero’.

‘Gladiator: The Birth of a Lazy Hero’ tells the story about Timo, a lazy and unmotivated man, who tries to become a true gladiator for his first love Lucilla. Kwanghee will voice the main character Timo while Yewon will voice the sexy trainer Diana, who trains Timo into a real fighter.

Kwanghee said, “I saw the movie and fell in love with the character. I really like the character and I’m so happy that I got to play it.” Yewon also commented, “Diana is a really charming character. I’m looking forward to hear how my voice will be on screen.”

Girl group Jewelry will soon wrap up its promotions for “Look At Me” to prepare for a comeback this coming December.

On November 14th, the group’s agency, Star Empire announced, “Jewelry will be concluding their promotional activities for their mini album ‘Look At Me’ on this week’s music shows and start working for new digital single this early December.”

After more than 17 months away from the spotlight, Jewelry returned with first mini album titled ‘Look At Me’ and showcased a more fierce and sexier image.

The members of Jewelry go on a nice sea trip.

On the 25th of October, their official website was updated sharing a couple of photo's of the members of Jewelry enjoying their trip to sea on board a fancy boat. All of the members were present except for Yewon who had a schedule and could not join the rest of the group.

The girls showed off their slender figure and chic fashion style. Netizens commented, "Wow, they went on a trip to the sea, i envy them", "They look so chic", "I like their style".
